Significant moments in your life can become significant moments in your journey of faith. As a Church of England church, we offer christening, wedding and funeral services to the community.   

Funerals

A Church of England funeral is available to anyone, whatever their previous contact with church. 

We can offer support through one of life's most difficult moments, as you celebrate the life of a loved one.

Christenings

The arrival of a new baby often sparks a desire to celebrate life and give thanks for God's blessings. It is a wonderful time to celebrate with your loved ones.

We'd love to help you plan your child's special service; a Christening or Thanksgiving, just contact us for more information.

Weddings 

If you're interested in celebrating your marriage at St Frideswide's, we'd be happy to speak with you about possibilities.

If you are getting married elsewhere and need to have your banns read at St Frideswide’s please contact us via the form below.

It is currently not possible for same-sex marriages to be conducted in a Church of England church. However, there are plans to introduce prayers of blessing for same-sex civil marriages in the near future. When these become available it will be possible to have a service of blessing for a same-sex marriage at St Frideswide's. Please get in touch if you would like to talk with us about this possibility.
