Listening to the community

We’ve been doing some local listening at our various community Christmas Fayres over the last couple of weeks.

Steve, Catherine and Nudrat (left and right in the picture) have been hearing stories from residents of the Lakes and Water Eaton about what matters where they live.

Many people are grateful for good neighbours and a sense of community spirit. Some are worried about anti-social behaviour and many are frustrated by fly tipping and littering.

We hope to gather people together in the spring for some follow up conversations and a plan to take some action on an issue that will make a difference to the lives of residents in our community.

If you are interested in telling us your story or have a little capacity to contemplate planning some action for change please get in touch with us - email Nudrat our community organiser on nudrat@stfrideswides.org
